HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC SCHOOL.........TORONTO
Man’s abiding happiness is not in getting anything but in giving himself up to what is greater than himself, to ideas which are larger than his individual life, the idea of his country, of humanity, of God.
Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.
Just like the United Nation, students in our school came from different countries. My best friend Magda, came from Poland.
It takes only a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires courage.
Goodbye classmates, friends, teachers, and my beloved HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC SCHOOL
SMILE
If at times you feel you want to cry And life seems such a trial
Above the clouds theres a bright blue sky So make your tears a smile.
As you travel on lifes way With its many ups and downs
Remember its quite true to say One smile is worth a dozen frowns.
Among the worlds expensive things A smile is very cheap
And when you give a smile away, You get one back to keep.
Happiness comes at times to all But sadness comes unbidden
And sometimes a few tears must fall Among the laughter hidden.
So when friends have sadness on their face And troubles round them piled
The world will seem a better place And all because you smiled.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
